The Gap Between the Wedding and the Reception
There will be a slight gap between the end of the wedding and the beginning of the reception. For people attending both the wedding and the reception, here are some ideas on things to do while waiting for the reception to officially begin:
- Hotel Activities: For guests staying at either Stoney Creek or the Radisson, there are a few things available there besides taking a nap! Both hotels have indoor pools and hot-tubs. Both hotels also feature bars - The Radisson has a Friday's and Stoney Creek has a pretty cool hotel bar. See the Hotel page for more information.

Visit the John Deere Commons in downtown Moline: The reception and hotels are located in the John Deere Commons area. There are several shops, restaurants, and coffee shops in the area along with a large display of John Deere equipment.

Visit one of the local bars/pubs in downtown Moline: There are a few bars close to the reception hall where wedding guests can grab a drink or two while waiting for the reception to begin. Bent River Brewery , Bier Stube, and Jack's Place are all within easy walking distance of the hotels and the reception hall.

Attend 4pm Mass at Sacred Heart Church: Saturday evening mass will be held at the wedding church beginning at 4pm.
